In 2017, CI organized and completed the following projects:
・Conference entitled: Borders in the XXI century. Renaissance of walls and divisions, in cooperation with the Institute of Political Science of the University of Opole and the Institute of Political Science UKSW (8 November 2017). Conference with the participation of guests from Hungary, Slovakia, India.
・International Conference: On Interreligious cooperation in the context of migration and security threats in Europe. Challenges for Islam and Christianity, Warsaw 24.05.2017 (in collaboration with the Inter-Institute Department of Migration Studies UKSW, the Department of Islamic Studies and Arabic Studies at the University of Warsaw, the International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue of the UKSW, the Episcopal Council for Migration, Pilgrimages and Tourism, the Council for Interreligious Dialogue and the Centre for Islamic Culture in London, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland).
・XI European Seminar entitled: Perceptions of the European Union in the International Relations (24.11.2017) – in cooperation with the Polish Association for European Community Research (PECSA), the Department of International Relations of the UKSW, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland. The seminar’s subject was a discussion on the issue of perceiving the European Union in international relations in the context of the global identity it is looking for. The meeting was attended by representatives of domestic and foreign research centres.
・The scientific seminar entitled: Ideological affiliations and identity of political parties in the Visegrad Group countries. Government coalitions 1990-2017, 22.11.2017 (in cooperation with the Institute of Political Science UKSW in Warsaw and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Warsaw).
・On 07.03.2017, an agreement was concluded with the UKSW Publishing House in Warsaw to publish a scientific publication entitled: The Union in Search of its Borders.
Furthermore, from January to December 2017, the Foundation co-organized with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland and the Institute of Political Science UKSW in Warsaw eight public lectures from the series Studium Generale Europa.
